Some Books

I read a lot.

Here are all the books I have to read this month. (click for biggens)

"The Secrets Of The Chess Machine"

The Chess Machine was something called "The Mechanical Turk" which was an automatic chess playing machine during the 18th Century. I don't think I am ruining anything when I say there was a dwarf inside it. That's the main reason I got this from the library. Also there is some kind of murder mystery attached to it. The Chess will be interesting anyway.

"Dawn Of The Dumb"

This is by a man named Charlie Brooker who is the tv critic for the Guardian newspaper in Britain. The man is very funny. This is a collection of his columns. There are swears and rage.

"The Master & Margarita"

A Margarita is a tequila based cocktail. It is also a pizza topping. Margarita is a main character in this book by Mikhail Bulgakov. The Devil comes to Moscow during Soviet times. There are hi-jinks and escapades. If you only read one of this list make it this. There is nothing about pizza but I think cocktails are mentioned once or twice. It is unclear whether they are margaritas though.

"Short Stories Of Fyodor Dostoevsky"

I mean Russian Authors are where it is at. They are consistently excellent. I like Dostoevsky, which is handy because I was given this as a birthday present. People should read more great literature such as this. Maybe you should try it?

"Cat's Cradle"

This is by Kurt Vonnegut who wrote Slaughterhouse 5. That book was fucking strange. So perhaps this is too who knows? (aside from the people who have read it). I'm sure it will be okay.

I also got a book called "Cheetara" which is the biography of a MONKEY. A monkey that was in Tarzan or something. To be honest most of the reason I bought it was that it had a monkey on the cover. I forgot to take a photo of it though. I hope it's good.
